So, I’m thinking about upgrading to XP Pro (have home version now) and was looking at this link: http://www.css.ap.sony.com/VAIO/download/Summary.asp?Id=000000000001875&Model=PCG-TR1

Anyone done this? Any concerns?
Do I lose applications and settings already on the harddrive?

Out of curiosity, what are your reasons for this upgrade?

I’m on the home version. Thought Office/Pro would be ‘better’.
Also have feeble hopes that it would resolve some DVD-reading issues I’ve had.

I could also be bored smile
