It’s proving really difficult getting accessories for my TR in the UK.  I ordered the PCGACK5T slip cover on the 23 Nov 2003 from savastore.com and the due date keeps getting put back.  Now it won’t be till the end of January at the earliest.

I also ordered the 512 MB RAM upgrade from SMCDirect over a month ago and still no sign of it.

Anybody having any better luck than me?

I believe I could cancel it but after a quick calculation with currency exchange and VAT it doesn’t look financially sound.  It goes from £46 up to £64 (+any postage charges).  It’s a pity I want the one thing that’s more expensive in the US than in the UK :(

Hallelujah!  I finally got my case from savastore.  They’re showing one left in stock if anyone’s after them - better be quick.  I wouldn’t trust the Satellite warehouse count they have.  It said 87 when I ordered which promptly changed to 0.

The slip cover looks like it’ll do the job nicely.  I’ll feel better about throwing it in my sports bag now.

Tell me about it!! - I bought my TR1 from Tottenham Court Road (Nice deal for a grey import that when you try to register it with sony they have no record of the serial number..).

At the same time ordered the case and am still waiting - problem is I am off to Africa for 2-3 months in 2 weeks and want the case to try to stop the dust from getting everywhere…...also need to source a battery if anyone sees a reliable place online thats UK based….
