[quote author=“tifosiv122”]Thanks, I already paid for a set on ebay…$15 shipped for 100 piece kit.
Erik
Good deal, on a “buy it now”? Let me know how they deliver and I may pick one up. I’ve got a handful of this-and-thats I’ve accumulated thru the years. Every time I need one it’s an adventure to find and often the wrong size.

Will do. It was $10 buy it now, $5 shipping…seemed like a decent deal.
[quote author=“dbs”]I think they’re all selling the same kit.
Yeah, my seller seemed to be $5 less after shipping.
gAmEs0n - as soon as I eat dinner I will post my review…until I get the driver I will not know if its possible to swap the boards, but from the looks of it, it will be mighty difficult as most of the screws are hidden.
I got the screw driver set, and it’s nowhere near the size I need, it’s way too big. The seller included an actual screw driver as well as the bits…I was impressed about that.
So, today I went on a hunt.
3 mom & pop computer stores, no luck.
CompUSA, no luck.
Sears, no luck.
Called Sony Acc….they inform me there are 2 types of winged screws. Each driver is about $20. They have one in stock, the other is a 4 week wait. I ordered both.
So far, without swapping the feet, I am looking at $210 for parts, if I need to swap the feet, i’m looking at $300.
[quote author=“dbs”]Those sound like the kind of numbers one usually sees on government bid contracts. Right along with $200 toilet seats.
I’d be for finding a nice X-acto knife set or perhaps a tiny woodcarvers/modeling chisel.
Trusty swiss army knife does the job well. Its a bit hard because the CF wraps into the screw hole so I need to be real careful. I already removed and replaced the feet…I had to buy rubber cement to replace the feet, the adhesive was gone when I removed them.
