Just out of curiosity, has anyone purchase a TR5B from an eBay seller? I thought this is a decent deal:
I am thinking of getting one. Any comments regarding your experience purchasing TR series from eBay would be much appreciated. :D

TR3AP1’s with 512MB RAM, 40gig HDD, Windows XP Pro, $1799 plus shipping.
If you’re unsure about the TR-series, CDW’s 30-day no questions return policy should help make your mind sit easier. (Restrictions DO exist on other manufacturer’s products, but Sony is not one of them).

According to the posts about the new spring lineup many are calling the TR discontinued. I did not see a new TR listed in the new lineup. They did have three new T and interestingly a new F with the Sonoma chipset.

ofcourse . Since you’re in Canada, you might want to look for eCost since they ship to Canada.

Hi all, new to the forum, but I used to have a TR2AP, but just bought a TR5GP on Ebay for 652.00 shipped with restore disc, case, adapter, etc… Pretty good deal, the poor guy miss labeled it as a PCB instead of PCG- TR5GP. Had it three weks now, and happy as can be with it.
