I urge compassion for S users. Falling back into old, heavier, behaviors is just a sign of human fallibilty. We must try to be tolerant , only then will they have the opportunity to see the error of their ways.
As for Eric and his TR-lite, when following the path some become overzealous. We must remember to be understanding, after all some people are happy with Microsoft Works.
Is there discrimination going on here? If there is, it really isn’t apparent. It’s not like you have Type S, TR, and soon-to-join X505 users are out to get each other. Rather, it seems everyone is excited for everyone else and fascinated with each others purchases. Also, a surprising few have multiple systems and their insight and experiences here helps the others on this site.
Of course, this site being what it is, there’s bound to be the friendly banter that we’re all famous for.
I have both a TR and an S, in addition to Apple laptops, so there’s no discrimination here, just love for all forum members. I hadn’t noticed any problems here aside from a few joking remarks, maybe I don’t post often enough!
Chris, I think you’re over-emphasizing this running joke. :? It is simply us nerds’ way of kidding around you know…
Maybe… your just not nerd enough
I didn’t take you seriously. It’s all in fun. Were I in your shoes, I’d want the X505 myself. The site substituted their logo for the nice quiche image I wanted.
