are on at exactly the same time and you don’t want to miss any of them. Ok, ok…yeah, the last couple are weak…I ran out of steam. 

imagine being able to record Dead Like me and Sopranos and Simpsons all at the same time (they sadly are all 8pm sundays).  That wouldn’t be too bad.

Also if you’re a sports nut, like me, you could record all the NBA games at one time.

However, I seriously doubt 512 mb or ram would make that system go, and since they’re already charging 5K why not make it 6 and give you 4 GIGs.  Stupid sony, they went cheap on the TR (camera, dvd-write drive, BT, <edit>G</edit>).

Finally, couldn’t you just take your system and spend about 1500 to buy 7 tuner cards and 4 250 gig drives, outpost has 250’s for $100 right now in fact.

Well, that makes it worthwhile. I’d hate to miss a rerun.

7 Tuners…I’m sure you can use them all, DirecTV has something like 300+ channels…
