Well that’s me up to an 80GB 5400 rpm HD. Simple as chips - just ghosted my c drive on to dvd, swapped the hardware over and dumped the image back on to the new drive - the whole thing took about half an hour and gave me a chance to inspect the gubbins inside the unit.
This S type really is far superior to the previous two - quiet fan (its a toshiba fan - anyone else checked to see the manufacturer?), and no battery charging issues.
Glad I stuck with it, it was touch and go for a while, but now I see how easy it is to upgrade I may be up for a processor upgrade in a year or so’s time to keep it up to date!
Is it just me or are laptops really cool to see inside - I think the insides of the S series are really well laid out, unlike some other manufacturers who seem to just throw everything together and pray it works..
