HI all,

I use a program called PopPeeper (  ) to ready my Yahoo mail without ads, etc.  It’s a great program and I’ve been using it for a while, but since getting the TR I find that I can’t scroll using the TR’s touchpad when reading a message.  The scroll feature works fine in the message list, but when a message is open it just won’t work.  I’ve tried the PopPeeper forum and no one else seems to have seen this problem, which leads me to believe it’s specific to the TR touchpad/driver.

Does anyone else us this program and find the same??

Hav you downloaded the driver update for the touchpad from the Sony vaio website? That might sort it for you.

Yes - it happens even with the driver update.  No improvement I’m afraid.  :(

Interestingly i have a problem with the touchpad when i open stardock, in fact then i can’t even tap on my touchpad and have to close stardock and re boot.

Suspect there are some issues with the touchpad driver in general.  Have you also noticed that when scrolling by clicking in a scroll bar (ie. the ‘empty’ space in the scroll bar which would normally scroll you by one page at a time) that you always end up scrolled by more than one page?  It’s almost like the different resolution of the TR causes a portion of the page to be skipped.

Not sure how Windows works out how far to scroll, but there’s clearly something odd there.
