Ubid.com also lists X505 already as a refurb for $2600 I think. I have bought a lot of VAIO accessories from them and their Sony delievered refurb stuff looks brand new to me, just simply repackaged.

I reading back on a couple of pages on this thread.  I think its pointless to argue which machine is better for one another.

Only the owner will know that.  Alll we can do is give advice.  I personally don’t favor for the x505 and never considered buying (price is not the issue, I thought the price was very resonable considering the design and the specs.

I have been on this forum for a little while and I am getting a little frustrated with memebers debating, being smarty, and so on.

If you have something to say to me go ahead and pm.  But, don’t try to embarres me or others on this forum.  It will just make us other members want to leave. 

I am not here to debate, fight or get upset when I log-on and check out this forum.  I understand some members have different humor than others….

I peronal take what you say seriously and would like for you to consider my way of thinking, and my personality and to be respectful to others as well.

If I was on the street I am sure you wouldn[‘t come up to someone and speak as some do on this forum….
