I just installed nero 6 ultra but it doens’t recognize my dvd/cd r drive…i know this is probably cuz hte tr5 is brand new but i need to fidn some program taht will recognize it does anyone know how what cd writing software i can use? In the list of devices that i want to use in nero it only says image writer, not cd writer..so i’m sure it’s a firmware issue…so what should i do guys?! i tried to download the new update from nero but no help..i think my drive is called matshitaUJDA 755 o..does anyone have any help for me?!?!?  Anyone with a tr5 what program are u using to burn cd’s?!?!?!?

The thing is when i got my TR a month back , since at the time i wasnt going to go any real cd burning tasks, i didnt really bother installing any app other than the one that comes with TR itself. But then i installed Nero 6 ULTRA just like you have and it worked absolutely fine. But i think you might want to try installing a older version of nero. Like 5 or some subversion of 5. Other than that, the burning app which comes with TR is ok, but not as functional as NERO though it does the job till you find a older version of nero. I dont know where you will get it though. Try searching for it at GOOGLE.

Also for burning music cds i recommend Acoustica MP3 CD burning software. Works like a charm and is quite useful. http://www.download.com , will find it here for sure.

i downloaded the firmware updates from nero’s site for nero 6 ultra…i think it upgraded it to 6.3.3 or something like that and it’s working fine now thank god! thanks again
