Wow, great videos, thanks. To be honest, I don’t like the CF one at all. I hate glossy things, and I hate fingerprints…IMO the CF would look nasty unless it was handled with gloves…
Its a shame because CF does not need to be glossy, thats just the coating they used…
i read it before i ask and it looks like onenote is maximized if u use it with tablet PC, not regular PC like TR, for the handwriting software recognisition. other than record and playback, i don’t see other advantage. for recording and playback, you can just buy regular MP3 player that can record (at least that’s what my friends do to record lectures)

Sure it’s ‘maximized’ if you use a Tablet (actually, i’d argue that as the tablet isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be) but I can personally tell you it is one of the best programs and most original that I have used in a long time.

It by no means ‘just’ records and plays back.

i do not want to create heat… but for the last few msg, you haven’t really tell me what’s the onenote plus(s). i would like to know, in a positive way, not to create argument
u only told me that it’s good for recording lectures, but that’s about it. if u can elaborate a bit more with what u do with onenote beside recording and playback, i’ll really appreciate it as i m thinking of getting one and would like to get feedback from real users, not from microsoft
[quote author=“Drachen”][quote author=“OnMyWayUp”]How would the Fujitsu P1000 not work?
The picture you posted was of a Samsung Nexio, a Windows CE device, that cannot run OneNote.
Yes that was a picture of a Samsung Nexio, good job, and I was well-aware that it runs Windows CE… I didn’t know he was running MS OneNote and the recommendation of the Nexio was before that… I threw in the picture because of the setup (keyboard and screen) before I knew he needed Windows XP. If you had read up in my previous post it had said exactly [quote author=“OnMyWayUp”]Clie with keyboard SLASH Fujitsu P1000
. That’s why I asked: [quote author=“OnMyWayUp”]How would the Fujitsu P1000 not work?
not “How would the Samsung Nexio not work?”
Here’s a picture in case you need visual clarification of my intent once I knew he needed XP:
(Sorry, I have nothing against you Drachen… just know that.)

[quote author=“gr00vy0ne”]I use MS OneNote for all my notetaking and when I’m collecting information for anyone of my projects. It’s so unbelievably intuitive and it makes taking notes (and organizing them later) a real breeze. With my TR, I used the built-in microphone to also record certain parts of the lecture for playback later when I was reviewing my notes. I also love the fact you can pull in pictures or data from the internet (also showing you the URL where you got it from).
[quote author=“tifosiv122”]When you install onenote you can click the mic icon and it records in the background automatically. You can hear the whole lecture or when you click on what you typed you hear 5 seconds before, during, and 5 seconds after (in case you didnt type everything)
So, as Groovy pointed out it:
1. Records in the background
2. Helps keep notes organized
3. Can pull pictures/data from the net with URLs
As I pointed out:
1. It gives you line by line audio with prior and post audio.
