Well I am not actual using the usb into my TR. But the air is blowing across it
It was a hot day in Castaic, where I live. Which, is pretty much the desert. My desktop started complaining of the heat. As my one 120mm exhaust fan tried to keep up with the heat.
As the rpm’s kept on getting faster and whinning at me. I got of my computer desk chair and drove to my local fry’s.
I went to the cooling section for pc’s and found a few no name fans.
I was complety not impressed so I drove home. On the way I stopped at Circuit City and discovered that had a very nice stock shelf of antec fans.
Well, let me tell u I am a true fan of Antec. So much I’ve purchased 3 sonta cases. Anyway I got a 120mm smart cool for the intake. I also got a cyclone. The cyclone fits in a pci slot and helps with the video card, as its placed perfecty underneath it.
The one thing I did not think about is where all the stagnet air in the back of my desk. My computer desk is a corner one facing a wall. Anyway I placed this fan on the desk to help circulate the air.
And for the most part it did real well cooling. So well infact I thought it was making my house too cold and I put on a sweater.
To no avail I found out someone had a heat flash and turned up the air somewhere in the 60 degree range.
And the wonder why the electricty bill is $500
Anyway back to the review. This is well designe d usb fan. With 4 multicolored leds that make it loook really kewl. Last but not least it pulls enough air to kewl of me pull the exhaust from my desktop and cool off the TR in the process.
And no it doesn’t make the house feel like it has A/C as I thought it was I wish thats all you needed. Maybe somewhere in the future they will be able to make A/C’s out of something so small.
Thats on my wishlist
