There are several ways to “link” two computers, depending on the BT stack (software) that you are using and the combinations of OSs. Well, if you are using Windows XP and a fairly recent stack, chances are that you already have a PAN profile or network access. Just enable it and you are in.
Should you be trying to just share you internet connection, you can always use the ICS setup, asuming a windows client.
If you want to share your internet for your PALM device, simply create a null modem to the BT serial port and setup a PPP server (assuming Windows on the server side)
Finally, should your stack not allow for PAN, you can always use “direct connection” and assign the connection to the BT serial ports on each machine… This will give you a slow link (115k) but it should work with any protocol you want.
