why TR doesn’t have IR?

its hard to pack so much into such a small unit…besides IR is quite limited especially when compared to BT.

its a diff thing that a lot of TR models dont have BT either.

And you can argue that all IBM’s don’t have Bluetooth.

IR… hmm… if they had the extra room, i’m sure sony would have prefered to add a 2.5” rather than a 1.8” hd.  cheaper, larger and faster…

w can add BT by ourself, maybe we can figure out how to add IR into TR.

well i got a superb IR dongle from ebay 5 months ago for 6 GBP (from UK) , 11 USD…

Not many apps use IR anymore..save for the old PPCs that used IR directly to communicate between each other and such.
