New A/C adapter with T Series

It looks like the new T Series notebooks come with a smaller 16 volt A/C adapter that would be compatible with the TR Series as shown below:
It also appears to have a connector with a 90 degree “elbow” which I would prefer… I wonder if it can be ordered separately??

Thats cool, although its thicker so the weight might be pretty close.

Yes, it looks like the same one as the U50/70. If it does work with the TR then that means it will work with the S as well. That would be pretty nice to get for traveling or smaller sized bags.

I’ve seen fry’s carry the standard one. I believe it was for a dencent price to. Maybe around $30.

I’m surprised they got rid of the light, that was a pretty cool little feature. But if that’s the style of the T, business business business, it makes sense to do away with all the doo-hickeys

I can’t justify spending 169 dollars on a charger thats just a little smaller :shock:

I have a VAIO U70p. Can the TR power supply be purchased separately? I wonder if it is cheaper than the power supply I am using now. I would like a reliable and inexpensive power supply for work,

the power supply for the tr can be purchased separately..try ebay.
