How about a sticky thread in Off Topic for strange and funny links?
I really enjoy most of them. The problem is that I use the “Latest” search option and if I don’t read a message it’s lost to me if no one replies.
There are times I’d like to logon and just read the on-topic stuff. Were the strange and wonderful in one thread I could peruse them later at my leisure.
Ok, I’ll look into it after I finish my Siliconpopculture.com redesign (which is done but in the process of being implemented.
I’m basically going to re-do the forums a bit so I’m in the planning stages. I’m planning to add a “Latest” for each category so you can more easily see what you want to see.
For instance, S series stuff will be separated from TR stuff to keep things from getting too crowded.
There’s also this thought to possibly rename the main forum name but keep Sony TR World under it as it’s own mini-site.
Either that or you could have separate latest threads lists for the general, TR, S and off topic forum groups. The ability to turn a list of latest threads “off”, if I wanted to ignore say S and Off Topic for example, would be nice too.

So would user-configurable titles.
I don’t know that I’d want to turn Latest “off”. I do like checking out the dark side periodically. Noisy fans and faulty heat sinks make me feel better about my clicking hard drive.

I’ll bet. Actually, if TRW is any indicaton, other than our preoccupation with the hard drive there really aren’t that many problems posted. I’m not counting the self-inflicted stuff like spilled my coffee or missing memory stick icons.
