hehehe… true.  I guess I’ve just been lucky.  So far all my BT devices play nice with each other.

I wouldn’t care about the dvd buttons.  Unless you didn’t have to turn on your os. 

I don’t see the point.  I like the volume buttons.  Those are the most used buttons for me.  Also the magnify.  I don’t know how that will be with out that little shortcut.

Also still use the camera.  Not everday but I use it probably at least once a month.  If I had some one to talk with a camera I would.

And I plan too…..Its a great feature…..Videophone’s are the way of the future.  I don’t know why people are nothing making a fus about getting the camera taken out.

I can see only one type of person that must have no camera in side his laptop and that would be for someone that works somewhere with high security and requires no cameras…..

i liked logitech’s webcam. I think the color from motion eye is kinda.. weird compared to logitech. Anyway, it’s built-in;so i always have my webcam on my laptop without carrying one extra. which is coo l:lol:

Slight correction: T-Mobile will most likely never use BREW. BREW is Qualcomm’s Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless, a Java-style runtime environment. Qualcomm is the company that licenses CDMA (Verizon and Sprint) chipsets so BREW tends to stay on CDMA. T-Mobile is exclusively GSM-based worldwide. What you’re thinking about is EDGE.

Dude, I knew that guy was so full of it.  On T-Mobile’s own website I had checked up on the EDGE thing and it did say it would probably be available but there was no real date announced.  Then that guy is like “no, no, no… we are NEVER going to have EDGE! We are going with BREW…”  Damn, they are worse than the BestBuy guys…  :x

Thats because its not a cell plan, its a wireless broadband plan. Does your cable/dsl come with phone call minutes? Same idea.

DSL piggybacks your phoneline… so you could easily argue that it does… Even if it isn’t 100% accurate…

Still, your DSL plan does not include voice minutes, local or nationwide (at least most that I know of don’t)...if you factor in a combo plan then you can argue the same from VZW.

This model will not pull in the chicks like the tr does. it looks like all the other corporate crap.  think about it, if u are going to own an ultraportable, that means u take it anyplace, and that means it must go with any attire in any situation. i dont want to be sitting in a coffee house with a geek box.  the tr and the macs look the best in those casual situations. perhaps the answer is for mfgs to start thinking exchangable covers like we have for mobile phones.  it could spur a whole new industry, like the ipod and resulting ipod cases.

That’s a great idea.  If they made a quailty case.  But most cases were you can change the color.  I think look cheap.

I will have to see and feel the T-Type to judge it! However, my feeling is that I would go for the S-Type. It’s less than half a Kg hevier than the T-Type, have the bigger screen and, most importantly, it can be obtained with CPU’s with a clock as high as 2GHz. The TR is a special design, camera, white and the overall shape, this makes it unique!

The problem with custom “plates” is that they’re usually poorly implemented and outrageously ugly…just look at Dell. They tried this before and it was so awful. Also, on smaller notebook devices, it’s just very difficult to do without compromising the quality of the case.

this company has the right idea! turn something blue and charge double!  seriously, nice idea.  i got real excited when i saw a pic of the canon GL2, for just a moment i dreamed they could turn my Xl1s hot PINK, but alas, it was just an overpriced GL2, stock color.
