how do i manually make recovery cds? where should i go?

click start->vaio recovery wizard..

there is no vaio recovery wizard in start—> all programs

find this file and run it..

C:\WINDOWS\SONYSYS\VAIO Recovery\Launcher.exe

did you do a fresh os install without creating recovery discs first?  :shock:

the software on my tr2 is still the original software when i bought it. i don’t know why it doesn’t have the vaio recovery program.  i went to a sony style shop today and i checked their tr and i saw the program.  mine doesn’t have it.  any solutions?

probably have to go order a set of recovery discs from sony.  rolleyes
