[quote author=“ECKAMUS”][quote author=“gr00vy0ne”]You really don’t need a Japanese keyboard to help you learn japanese. Most Japanese actually use ROMAJI (romanized japanese sounds) to enter in text. Their QWERTY layout is essentially the same as the US layout so there’s not a lot of learning you’d need to do. You’d be better served by installing Windows XP (JA) version or Window XP (EN) +
Multilingual User Interface pack that allows you run “Japanese Windows XP” which works perfectly fine with an English keyboard and will force you to learn Japanese. The JDM keyboard only lets you switch between IME modes faster.
Is it possible to just buy the Multilingual User Interface pack for WinXP PRO? I have been looking around and have only been able to find WinXP PRO + the MUI together. Thanks for any help.
Also does anybody know the part number for the JDM keyboard? I am interested in buying one.
Part # for TR JDM keyboard: 1-478-035-11
