[quote author=“gameson”]thanks, tifosiv122. i m not good in lingos or term. i m only good in defining stuff. =)
next q, how do i extend my desktop? and how many monitors can TR support? i see that some PC can have so many monitors. i have seen coworker with 5 LCD on his desk. dunno if it comes from 1 PC cause i don’t ask, but most likely is, cause he only has 1 mouse and that mouse arrow/cursor travels from far left to far right monitors.
thanks for the info
Go to your display properties, under settings, there you can enable the second monitor and decide how to use it.
Videocards that have dual outputs, VGA/VGA or VGA/DVI or DVI/DVI, can support 2 monitors. If you want a third, fourth, etc. you need to add more videocards. There may be cards thats support more then 2 but that is not a typical off the shelf card. The TR would be limited to 2 unless you get some sort of USB or PCMCIA solution.
There are several software based solutions that allow you to make monitors part of your system, including using a laptops display to make a desktop a dual monitor machine…
