what’s the button just above the LED? i can’t use that button for some reason…. is it a logitech specific button that only functional with logitech software? so far, all mouse buttons work except that. it’s the one just above the LED and below the scroll down button. btw, i don’t install any software from logitech since i use bluespace and built-in bluetooth
well, every single buttons on the mouse work except that one. scroll wheel works, scroll up/down works, fwd works, back works, everything….
i want to know if it’s just me or others have same problems. if others dont see it, i might have defective mouse, but if others do see this problem, then it’s not my mouse…
its not complete bs..depending on their rated class..laser can cause permanent eye damage. according to this ..the laser light on the mx1000 is invisible to human sight.. yet can still capture 5.8 megapixels of surface data per second.

The write up is slightly off/unclear, as the laser doesn’t actually capture anything, it’s the optical sensor that can pick up greater surface detail due to the better illumination.
I’m upgrading all my input devices, and will be getting one soon for my desktop. If the new Microsoft BT kb/mouse become available in quantity anytime soon, they’ll make nice companions to my TR and S machines.
how long before your mouse need to be charged or when LED indicator is blinking red?
my mouse takes about 3 days. also, when do you charge it? do you charge it right away when the LED is blinking red? or you wait until the mouse can’t move anymore? the reason i ask about the charging is that the battery is NiMH, no Li-ion. Li-ion can be charged anytime, but as i heard (correct me if i m wrong), Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd can’t be charged anytime cause it might actually affect the battery in a negative way (capacity deteriotes faster?) is that true?
