thanks. i can connect the mouse via sony built-in bluetooth without problem (with no authentication). that’s why i ask, does the mouse need authentication? and the answer is no… so my method to connect is correct…
now i m typing this with my new logitech bluetooth keyboard. one try connect, easy, no problems, unlike the apple BT keyboard. first impression, the mouse feels expensive, the keyboard feels cheap, apple BT keyboard feels expensive. but overall, it’s worth $74 AR for both combo as the mx900 alone is about $70. it’s like buying the mouse and get the keyboard free, so i ain’t complaining about the build quality of the keyboard
now i m going to restart my PC and see if i can put my bios password via logitech keyboard as advertised….
AND THE RESULT IS (DRUM ROLLLL)
no…. i can’t put my bios password using the logitech keyboard. as i expected, i don’t think i can do that without installing the bluetooth hub/mouse charger that logitech included in the package. Probably the bios password entry will work with the hub but i prefer not to install the logitech hub cause i don’t want to have two bluetooth hub close next to each other as it might cause interference. i can put my win xp password using keyboard after few seconds wait.
i m so happy. volume button works. i m going to eat my dinner and be right back with more testing, but as of right now, i m very happy.
