Will this work with TR? i have a TV that has DVI input but our TR is VGA output. i’m just trying to find a cable to convert from VGA->DVI

Your link is broken. A quick search foulnd DVI TO VGA adapters, but not the inverse. Which is what you’re seeking.

Note: There are two types of DVI Connectors: DVI Analog and DVI Digital. If your DVI is digital, this DVI Adaptor will not work. Please check your DVI Pins carefully whether this DVI adaptor will fit in.

I think I have one of those.  I think it might have came with a video card or something.

Never tried it.  If I have the time I’ll try to hook it up to my LCD and see if it works.

My video card has DVI output and came with a DVI to VGA adapter so that older monitors could be used. Converting VGA to DVI is a whole different ballgame.

So how can i Converting VGA to DVI?

I assume that the convertor(DVI->VGA) doens’t work backward.right?

You can’t convert VGA to DVI. It would require some sort of Analog-to-Digital processor device to do the translation.

oic thanks groovy.. i think if i want to show my TR on TV,i have to go with Grandtec solution instead.
