Since this is my first post as a registered user, I thought I’d take the opportunity by opening with a huge “Thank You” to gr00vy0ne for making this site possible. I found it in October, 2003 and have been monitoring it ever since. Based on gr00vy0ne’s exceptionally detailed review of the TR1 and on the comments in this forum, I felt very confident about buying my TR2 which arrived two days ago. What a great decision!
For anyone else contemplating a purchase, I bought the TR2AP1 from newegg.com and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of computer equipment. I originally ordered the system directly from Sony, but after several days of waiting, several e-mails and phone calls, no one could tell me when my order would even ship much less arrive. This may have been a unique situation, but newegg.com delivered as promised and at a lower price.
In closing, I’d also like to thank each and every one of the other 172 current members for their postings to this site which helped me to make the right buying decision.
