b to b/g only costs u ~$40 if u buy intel 2200bg, but i would suggest that you wait since the new one, 2915abg is coming and probably cost around $60 (compare to netegriti a/b/g that costs $99)
[quote author=“gr00vy0ne”][quote author=“deathstar”]btw, such upgrades will violate the warranty, right?
Warranty? Who needs a stinkin’ warranty!
Seriously, if anything does go wrong then yes, I would swap out the upgrades and put it back to normal before sending it in. I probably do need to buy a set of case screws as you can tell I’ve been in my system.
[quote author=“tifosiv122”]Its not a difficult install, if you’ve ever put your own desktop together you shouldn’t have a problem.

ive builted my dektop myself. but i’m too scared to take TR apart  . I bought an accidential ~~ warranty for 2 years. I thinki’ll wait for a while and then i’ll install it soon.
that comment was meant for those who have migrated to the darkside.. :xeno:
the tr is my first sub-notebook.. until something drastic becomes available..i’ll be with my tr for a very long time.
I’ve never taken a TR apart but the Z1 was easy enough. You need to for RAM upgrades, unlike the TR with the modules accessable from beneath. HDD upgrade for the Z1 was easy enough. Bluetooth was a bit harder since there was no native position. The wireless was easy enough as well.
Only prob is that you have to take out more than a dozen screws to open the darn things. Apart from that it’s quite intuitive taking apart a laptop.
