Does anyone have any review on this bag.  It looks great for the TR.  It says it has 2 compartments where I maybe could put an additional binder or something.  But I look at some guys review and he said he could barely put cables and a few small assesories.

incredible construction.. plenty of storage..small and lightweight..overall great protection. though i’m not feeling business “black” color though.

Do you think there is any difference between the glove and the one made for the powerbook?

I know what you mean.  I need it for work though and for business black it looks nice for the pirce.  I was comparing it against a Tumi Bag that goes for $200.  I think I’ll save the hundred dollars and get this benthaven.

Not entirely relevant but might help someone decide. I’ve had a Brenthaven backpack for the past few years and it is very well designed and made from really good quality materials. The laptop protection is real belt and braces stuff and I never worried that my laptop was at risk. Maybe they’ve lowered standards over the past few years because these Apple models are far, far cheaper than the one I bought.

I’ve just bought a Waterfield RacerX bag to go with my TR1 and I did consider the Apple specific Brenthaven bags but, like you, couldn’t find any reviews on this forum so I went for Waterfield who get very good reviews.

My Waterfield bag is very, very good.

Why do you think they are cheaper.  DId you check one out.  Because what I’ve seen on the internet the Glove is a well built product by brenthaven.  As for the apple products I havent’ found any reviews except linc well you can see his post above.

What do you guys like about the waterfield cases.  I just can’t get into them.  Maybe because I am looking for a black business type of case.

Under Brenthaven there are two options one is the glove I am considering and the other is for the 12” powerbook under the mac section.

Chris, I’d pick the Tumi bag. In a thread awhile ago someone said Tumi bags are worth the price and are also nicely built. The one you’re looking for is a bit larger than my RacerX12, so I believe there’s enough space for your small accessories.

Brenthaven may have dropped their prices to appeal to a wider market. Quality may well be unchanged.

I bought the Waterfield racerX because it’s half the price of the Tumi bag.  The RacerX in the Lead colour scheme is very subtle, it’s mostly black with a stippled black and tungsten panel that looks quite muted. I’m sure you’d get everything you need into the racerX 12”.

i checked the prices of the waterfield and they are like a $130 and the tumi is $195 and that is not half price to me.

The brenthaven is though.  You can get it on sale for only $89 includes shipping and no tax.

Right now I think the Brenthaven has the best bang for the buck.

The waterfield quality also looks flemsy to me compared to the brethhaven.  Which I want a case I don’t have to worry about my gear getting damage.
