I’ve accumulated or gone through a lot of toys but few are more than passing memories. I loved my ‘86 T-Bird Turbo Coupe. The Acura 3.2 SL/S 6-speed manual I’m driving now is nice but in a few years it will be just another car I’ve owned… 

One of these days the three of us; the Miata, TR & I are going to hit some mountain roads and give the GPS a workout.

i had an acura before the miata…nice car but the miata was the best.  now i have a royal enfield and i aint never going back to 4 wheels…even if there is no top…just like i am never going to own a desktop again.

I like a lid on my wheels.   It gets a little cold in Salt Lake City and surrounds. Even Las Vegas gets nippy in the winter. It just looks sub-tropical, the palm trees are imported.

I still use my desktop, but since the TR it’s only when I have to.

My racerX (12” with Lead colourway) arrived in the UK from San Francisco 2 working days after I ordered it, very impressive. SF Bags were extremely good at telling me what was happening and it feels like you’re dealing with real people who care about what they’re doing.

I took the bag to Geneva yesterday for it’s first journey and it was a pleasure to travel with. I’ve had the TR1 for a while but was using a bag designed for a grown-up laptop so yesterday I experienced the full joy of downsizing. No aching shoulders or handle induced tendonitis and it slipped right under the airplane seat without a struggle.

The bag really is more roomy than I expected and it holds my TR1 perfectly and I can get everything I need for a full day of travelling, I can even slide a few A4 files into the external pocket. I had to be ruthless about what I carry to make it work but I was carrying loads of unmissed rubbish anyway.

I’d recommend the RacerX to anyone and dealing with SF Bags is a great experience. I think I’ll buy a Waterfield Gearpouch next to organise the loose stuff.

I don’t have the extended battery on my TR1 so can’t vouch for the fit. If you need to carry a lot of stuff even for day trips you may want to consider the medium sized version.
