Hi,

Just incase some of you’ll have decided to do a clean install of windows xp but have forgotten to make the recovery cd’s, I have uploaded a bunch of softwares here (thanks Mr. B for hosting the files) which should be enough to get the camera, lcd buttons, function buttons to work fine…

If you’ll need something more off the cd, let me know.

I hope sharing these softwares doesn’t constitute anything illegal (afterall they’re useful (almost) only for the TR)...if so then could a mod please delete my post.

EDIT: If you’ll need something that is ridiculously big then please provide me with a link where I can upload the required softwares. Also, I am unable to rip the click to dvd software which is located on recovery cd 7(probably I can rip things only off recovery cd 6).

I noticed that Sony support has a lot of the drivers for my TR3AP posted. One might want to check there first for updated drivers.

i have the recovery DVD but fir a few dys now i need to reinstall the network_smart_capture software that comes with the preinstalled version of the TR2A.

THe problem is that the setup of the recovery DVD does not start. I remeber it took me to a screen where i had to select which programs on the left side in boxes i wished to install/uninstall.

any ideas why this is happening now ?

may be autorun is not enabled ? try double clicking on your dvd drive and see if that utility opens up.

1. picture gear studio : DONE
2. sonicstage mastering studio : DONE
3. smart network : no software by that name (if u meant smart capture or network smart capture, refer to my first post)
4. vaio media : DONE
5. giga pocket : no software by that name
6. click to dvd : unable to rip

Gigapocket is not on the US TR…which is why it doesn’t work with the PVR and its basically useless with the media receiver.

try using some ftp software like flashfxp. You might also need to turn passive mode on.

ur welcome..lemme know when ur done so I can take it off since I’m hosting those files on my uncle’s comp.

Rahul - Do you have ‘Vaio Power Management’, its something different from PowerPanel…
