I got the coolest address sonyvaiotr(@)gmail.com and am pretty happy about that. There’s probably some truth to the fact that the cool addresses will be gone by the time everyone is allowed to sign up.

Meh. I use it only for eBay. They can have all my buyers hatemail for all I care. BUT, on another note… I have TWO Gmail Invitations still around. Does anybody want one? First two, PM me for details.
shoot..i sell my invites on ebay for .60 cents a piece(to cover .30cent ebay listing fee & .30cent payal fees) to build up my ebay feedbacks.. whenever i sell them, gmail gives me more. you listening truthseeker..?

is this actually working for you? You are selling them? outta control
here’s my plan.
I am always changing jobs/offices etc and when i get to the new place i have to dig around my disk for the installers for all my small apps.
So now what i am doing is rar-ing them up into bite size pieces and emailing them to the gmail.
so now wherever i am in the world i can log in and install my quicktime pro or truimage or rainlender or any of the dozens of other little things that make my life easier without having to search the whole web for them.
it’s basically a gig of tranportable, accessable storage.

Right now I use the e-mail my ISP gave me. It’s pretty much unlimited space and I was able to aquire the name “megaman@provider.extention” which was awesome.
When gmail goes public I’ll probably replace my yahoo spam account. Although having 100MB means I don’t have to do much emptying the way it is. But even if I don’t even sign up for gmail I would like to thank Google for getting everybody to up their storage space to compete :D
I got a Gmail account a while back. I was planning on switching permanently, since I have a shitty 2 MB Hotmail account. But now Hotmail announced they will be raising the free acounts to 250 MB, which is way more than I need, so I guess the Gmail account will only be a mobile storage account.
Also, I like the Hotmail layout and stuff… maybe it’s only because I am used to it afte rso many years, but the fact is that I like it.
