if u buy BT keyboard alone, u will receive BT keyboard + BT hub (or BT router, whatever you call it to connect the BT keyboard to the PC)
same thing if u buy BT mouse, u will receive BT mouse and BT hub
now if u buy bundle, mouse and keyboard, why bundle 2 hubs when u can use one hub to handle two devices, right?
therefore the company saves $$$ in the hub and also save $$$ since they sell two devices instead of one, and also save $$$ on retail boxes since u now have to box one for two devices instead of two for two devices.
unless it’s a mac, where their PCs can be equipped with optional built-in BT, i rarely see desktop PCs come with built-in BT. we rarely even see laptop with built-in BT (TR don’t come with one, for example), therefore to sell BT stuff, companies have to include hub…
