I don’t know about the VAIO logo on them, but they look like your basic MDR-Q22LP headphones.

Yes they are MDR-Q22LP with VAIO logo. They don’t have spare caps and take too much space compared to TR itself (and don’t fit into TR semi-soft case). There are some better (at least more in style with TR) headphones by other manufacturers and even Sony has better choice.
If you still want original TR headphones I am ready to trade mine (absolutely new from Japan) for any of those: Sony MDR-Q55SL/SILVER , MDR-EX71SL or MDR-EX51LP , JVC   HA-E23-A , Aiwa HP-VX101-silver or HP-V600.

I don’t know anything about the Vaio headphones, but man does the Japanese Sony Style site make me drool!  If only they’d bring half of that stuff over here…

Good size for traveling??  Talk about drool.  Check these out.  I haven’t tried them yet, but read an article about these in Business Week last month.  I think the middle of the road ones $179 come out this month. 

Although I also remember reading that the low end model $99 was not far behind.  If anybody goes for the high end I’d like to hear personal experiences.  They all look great for traveling.

Has anyone tried these headphones yet?  They are Shipping the E3c now and I’m “shure” even the E2c would produce satisfactory results.
