Wow. That really rocks. What I’m looking for is more of a Matrix-y style desk. Ya know, bullet holes, 100s of flatscreen LCDs and the ever-omniscience ‘kung fu’ plug, you know, “I know kung-fu.”
To me it looks like something out of a techno-nightmare future where we all live in huge antiseptic domed cities because the outside world is ravaged by a nuclear war. Food and air are synthetic, individuality is cause for arrest, and people are only allowed to live until they’re 30. Apart from that I like it.
[quote author=“KZ2030”]just a regular table….
where are the cables, power cordes, etc…????
I have to agree here, it is too idealistic of a setup. Not very practical if you need any deskspace at all. This thing is for people who are just too lazy to hold a laptop and be wireless.
[quote author=“jiggy”]insanity. but note this important fact from the faqs: use only a soft cloth to wipe the clear plastic dome to prevent scratches.
I think it’s a generational thing, jiggy.
My generation built things that looked like that to land on extraterrestial objects. The picture looks like it could have come from the 1964 World’s Fair Futurama exhibit.

Lovely. An optimist in the group. Anywho, it looks more like haute couture furniture, in which you’ll be like OMG and buy it, then look at it, smack yourself, and say, WTF? And realize you have 400 less dollars in your account. With whic you could have bought an iPod or 400GB drive.
