I’m a big Tumi whore. Sony doesn’t get all the action. Anyone have a Tumi bag which works well alone and/or with CK5T case? The smallest one on the site looks like a possibility. Thanks.

Both are nice bags.  I think the first one I might get for business.  But if I was on the go I would defenitely get the backpack.  Looks really kewl… :D

As someone that travels over 250,000 miles a year in the air (I’m also a TUMI whore), I have a couple of Tumi options for you.  For daily use and short trips I recommend the small notebook bag in ballistic nylon (leather may look nice, but its heavier!).  Its perfectly sized for the TR, my i-Go juice and bose headphones and a CD wallet and my notepad.

Yes TUMI is initially expensive, but in terms of build quality, guarantees and design features, I don’t think they can be beaten if you look at the life of the product and value for money.

I am also a Tumi whore. 

While I can’t claim 250k miles/yr, I do come in somewhere around 70-90k. 

I recently posted a review of the Tumi style 9661 case, which I used with my SRX77, and now my TR3A.

I chose the leather case, and I find it to be only a few ounces heavier than the ballistic nylon.
