Just a few hours ago I ordered a Sandisk 512MB MS Pro Duo from Buy.com for $107.99. It showed in stock and free shipping.
‘Thought that was a pretty good price and wanted to share it. Here’s the rub, there are two listings for the MS Pro Duo on buy.com, one in computers one in electronics. When I went back to double check before posting this one price had dropped and free shipping was gone…
Easiest way to see this is search for: Sandisk Duo
The price in computers is now $106.19 with no free shipping flag. The price in Electronics is $121.99
[quote author=“dbs”][quote author=“linc”]that coupon is only vaid torwards items in stock..i was too late.
Bummer.
I just checked and the price is back to 107.99 from 106.19 :?
Only a 1% change…still a very good price…glad I locked in at $98 shipped. I have a ton of buy.com accounts…everytime they run a new customer coupon I create a new account and send my stuff to a friend’s house…hehe.

Until this TR buying binge I bought seldom enough that there was aways a coupon available. Even without the coupon I’m not complaining about getting it for $108. Even TS would have to agree it’s a good Flash price.
The 512MB MS Pro Duo showed up today. Buy.com seems to have improved their processing time. Thought it was noteworthy that the stick (with adapter) came in a new style (to me) case. Wonder if Sandisk isn’t repackaging and gearing up to follow Sony’s lead in the new MS speeds and sizes. This might account for the dearth of high capacity Memorysticks the last little while.
who ever started the rumor probably got confused by the faq on memorystick.com.
Q2. Is the Memory Stick PRO format a proprietary Sony technology?
A2. The Memory Stick PRO media format was developed jointly by SanDisk and Sony Corporation.
