I have given up on the S type and ordered my brand new TR from technoworld… due to come in on tuesday. Boy i cant wait to get my hands on it, its going to be fun.
Everything looks about the TR so far, except and i really think there is no excuse for the speakers. They are terrible, but i think i can live with that.
Officially a part of these forums now….........

You could buy my 2 month old TR5MP for way less then Technoworld. Its in “as new” condition, hardly used, it comes with all the packaging, manuals, disks, receipt etc and the original silver Sony VAIO slipcase. Im in London and am looking for a quick sale. Send me a PM if interested. Collection is welcome

I think i have definately made the right choice. Ofcourse i thought really hard about the S type, but then i figured that the TR is so much more usefull coz i can take it around, and use it as a portable DVD player as well. It doubles up as so many other things. Everything feels so good about the TR (Except the speakers, they look much better than they sound ), and the size just amazes me. I hope it handles multitasking well and doesnt crash as much as my other machine which i still use sometimes ( Toshiba 1800 700 , 850 MHZ P III )

I think im going to fall in love with my TR all over again once i see it. I was just reading some reveiws and they thought that the TR is very under rated in terms of speed. To achieve the kind of speed sony has on its TR laptops is really awesome considering the size these laptops are. Its an all round performer, good at everything. So i think our TR’s are capable of doing much more than we think they can guys.
