What the hell happened from Photoshop 7? Not only does it not seem to have any significant functionality enhancements from 7, but it seems like all the keyboard shortcuts Photoshop’s had since the dawn of man don’t work on CS… or am I just missing the ‘enable keyboard shortcuts’ option in the Preferences? Even Ctrl+V doesn’t seem to work. :shock: Anyone know if Adobe lets you run an old version with a license from the current one? 

did you use a crack or anything? mine didn’t work neither and i think there’s something to do with a version of crack :wink:

Really? I’ve been using it for a while now and all the shortcuts seem to work for me. I’ve done several projects with CS and everything seems to work like before….even CTRL + V.

I’m not really sure. but i remember read on one of the website and said that the some earlier version of crack fails a keyboard shortcuts.

No, this is actually a legit install. I guess I’ll just reinstall the damn thing when I get to work tomorrow. God I hate product activation. :evil:

Yeah, it’s a hassle when transferring my legit license over to my new laptop the tech guy “made” me uninstall it on my “other” machine while we were on the phone. Well, you know what I did…

It was still sort of a hassle though. Microsoft is actually a lot nicer when it comes to activation than Adobe…

The only company I can think of that’s more irritating than Adobe is Quark. Remember when Quark came with an activation floppy.. right when Apple decided it was going to drop floppy drives from its computers? Bah. Makes me just want to crack the thing and get it over with.

I crack everything for that reason. A lot of times I put the box in the closet just in case (legal reasons). I also crack games…they install fully on your PC, yet need the disc to run…BS, just patch it and run it off the drive…I can’t stand switching discs.

same here…I got flight sim 2004 and it was just too irritating to have disc 4 in the cd drive at startup…headed over to a cracks site and downloaded the no cd patch for it…so much better now

did u played doom3 on tr? or your others laptop.

I think Drachen tried it on the TR and IIRC he described it as “Doom 3: The slideshow”  .
