i’m not using the Bluespace that comes with the TR, instead i’m using Widcomm driver. If I apply this SP2 would I have any problem with my BT? 

Tot I heard something along that line before?  This SP updates the BT module/drivers too?

There are a lot of fakes floating around so make sure you check the MD5.

It’s a checksum so you know you’re downloading the legitimate file and not some warez beta version or some hacked version.

Right..it’s legit…it’s just for those who are very conscious of security. Some people just like it.

I’m a little confused.  If I have a (cough) **shared** (cough) version of Windows XP, should I use gr00vy0ne’s link, or wait for the MS update site to get it?  My desktop was blocked from using windows update to get SP1. 

Of course I’m not worried about the TR. Thats legit. :wink:

You may want to wait as it will only be a couple more days or two weeks at the most before it’s available on the Windows Update.

According to MS if it was blocked from SP1, it will be blocked from SP2. If its a ‘shared’ copy that was not blocked from SP1 it will not be blocked from SP2…basically they know there are other pirated copies out there but they aren’t go after them.

hi nhc538, are you using widcomm BT driver? Do you have any problem with your BT functions?

i only use bluetooth for wireless keyboard/mouse and nothing else.

my camcorder is bluetooth equipped, but i have to plug it in to a separate bluetooth box, so i don’t bother.

haven’t tried anyother bluetooth drivers, so can’t help you there.

Err. I don’t think I mentioned any free SP2 CD. I know you can order it from them. And yes, SP2 is inclusive and does not need SP1 to be installed first. It will bring all non-pirated copies of Windows XP up to date…fyi.
