That’s a really good idea. I think your suggestion has merit, linc. It would be easier for one just to go to a review section instead of hunt them down in a different forum, like General or gears section. I always love hearing from first-hand accounts from members we know ( and love ) around the forums—and it might potentially even encourage more members to start reviewing their new “finds” and purchases instead of just posting a topic that they’ve just bought it, it’s good, and would suggest you get it. And it would help the community stay informed on “what’s hot and what’s not.”

I like the idea. If gr00vy is indeed working on it, I’m sure it will be interesting to see the new addition no doubt.

I will consider it. One thing to note is that if you do searches for [Review] you can essentially find all the reviews on this site. Yes, it’s not done for you automatically but it’s a reasonable way to find them.

The search is a very powerful if you take the time to learn to use it. It’s pretty straightforward.

But don’t worry…changes are coming and coming soon. My schedule my finally cleared up. I’ve been stuck on projects for the last month and a half and I added the burden of taking some classes (for sharpening up the old skills) and I was extremely busy. Thus, the lack of lots of updates here and on the main site.

Starting this week I will be back in action getting to site refresh/redesigns, lost reviews and new stuff. And yes, I received my Type-S notebook and am getting to know it as we speak. It’s an awesome system although yes, it isn’t perfect…but I’ll get to that later. Still, it’s a keeper and I’m in the process of dumping all my stuff over.

I agree it would be nice to have a review section even that the search but works great.

I know you’ve been asked this before.

I may still add it. However, it think it may need to be moderated in some way to keep it clean (i.e. no wrong posts). I’m still thinking about it and will get back to you all on this.

Thanks groovy.  I agree that it would be need to be monitiored more often.

If we are giving our imput, i’d say no…just because we can review items in different sections…if its a TR accessory or some random Hardware or random software…As long as its in the correct section, I think this works best.

Maybe instead have a listing of the reviews somewhere, so someone could quickly see which products were reviewed? Like a sticky thread of links to the specific review threads?

Just a thought.
