TR ps/2 mouse problems, please help!

I have my Sony TR1 plugged into a device that converts ps/2 Mouse and key board, into a usb. This way, I can use both a external mouse and keyboard.

Now the keyboard works great, but the mouse wil not work at all.

It works on other pcs fine.

I don’t want a USB mouse, I would like to get this set up to work.

Any Help?

Have you tried to reboot the machine? As fare as I know PS2 devices will not work right away but only after the machine has been rebooted with the device atached.
