[quote author=“Rahul”]the deals appear nice, but r those people reliable?
You have to feel out the vendors like you would from any source. I’m sure you do the same. Have you noticed that some of Pricegrabber or Nextag’s vendors are straight up scam artists?
I usually check two or three price engines and then always spot-check newegg.com, buy.com and, lately, IoCombo.com. Seems like each of the engines has their “pet” stores and some items can be found in stores but not in the search engines. I’ve found newegg to be a good baseline price check when I start a search.
I prefer to order from the big stores like newegg, buy.com, ecost, amazon, etc or else I might even order from someone else depending on their ratings.
I guess the risks involved in ordering from majority of those stores (on pricewatch) are the same as ordering from someone on eBay.
