The typical limit is 4GB for 32-bit processors. Of course, you can have extensions to more memory but it’s not explicitly supported.

So, we will be needing more memory soon…and thus, 64-bit CPUs are definitely starting to make sense.

Yeah I’m all for 64-bit CPUs.  I’m just waiting for an operating system besides Linux (which I have horrible luck with on laptops and computer with specialty hardware such as the TR) that fully supports 64-bit hardware.  It’s too bad that Windows XP 64-bit edition will be OEM only (so you can’t just get it from a store you need to use the web :D ).
