First of all, you’re all insane.  From ordering obscure parts based on hints of information to prying off pieces of your computer with a Swiss Army knife.

But now, of course, I have to do this.  I haven’t even bought my TR yet, but I want to order the parts.  You guys discovered a lot as you went along, so I wanted to make sure I had the parts right.  How does this look?

Sorry you had to wait for confirmation.  The good news is, if you ordered the parts listed above you ordered the RIGHT parts.  I installed the older version of the BT module (123480321) but others have installed the newer one and they both appear to work fine.  Enjoy the completed mod.

Well, it’s official…they are definately the right part numbers…yes you can order all the parts through Sony Australia spare parts (although they had to set them up in their system first) and the total cost including shipping was $141.58 (AUD)...

The install was straight forward, although when the instructions say a small screwdriver they are not kidding…I used a jewellers set of drivers and the smallest phillips head was “almost” the right size…

I just ordered all those parts.  I want to thank the person who wrote that walkthrough (I think your name is groovyone right?  Pardon me if I’m wrong but I just joined) on how to add in bluetooth.  Those disassebly instruction for the TR models were top notch.
