I doubt there is enough people on the board at the same times to get one. I notice everytime I log-in only 3-5 users…that sounds like enough, but you would need 2-3 to want to chat instead of post.

Everytime I see a forum put up a chat room it closes within a few months due to lack of interest. I love the idea, for some reason it just doesn’t seem to work.

Just my opinion.

Yeah there are also users from all over the globe so factoring in time differences means even the potential numer of users online goes down before you’ve started seeing who is actually online…

I’m sure there are folks who would like to chat online with the community sometime, although the cons certainly outweigh the pros. Not to rule out a good idea immediately ...

Chat is cool, as long as no intel is sacrificed, that could have been posted for others to read and learn from at there leisure, or when in desperate need.
