I’ve been playing far cry on my semi new radeon 9800 pro 128.  It plays really well.  I would love to get a x800 xt when they come down in price.  But with pci express on its way I am wondering if it will with 16x 8)  better?

Nice, that’s good to hear. This PCI Express sounds like it’s going to make an interesting debut. Can’t wait to see the “drastic” performance improvements.   My brother bought the game, but hasn’t taken it out of the box much. Left it sitting there, lost among the pile of boxes with his upgrade parts for his custom built.

I loaded the demo of FarCry on my TR3A once. Choppy performance and missing colors ( set at lowest settigs ) persuaded me this game was not developed for machines like my TR.
