Wow, a lot more memory capacity.  However, the keyboard looks almost useless.  I have pretty small hands, but that looks too small….even for me!

well I can’t see the point in the keyboard really.  I staved off getting a P800 as it didn’t have predictive text, but with that on the P900 it was a clincher.  I use it for everything on my phone as I just type what I want into the notepad function and can then just copy it into my email or whatever.

And for all those people who haven’t bothered learning predictive text yet… get on with it!!  It’s such a useful thing… but then you american’s don’t really text so maybe not as useful, but still :?

how are you suspose to type on that without snapping the keyboard?? 

All the reviews I’ve seen of the keyboard seem to be pretty good. It’s designed to be able to be held by the flip. Mobile-Review even has a video of Eldar using the P910 keyboard. As I said before, I’d buy the phone just for the better number pad keys.

Looking at the development of the P800/900/910, it is easy to see why people would want to ditch their PDAs.  Integration is a beautiful thing. 8)

We don’t seem to agree on much, but yes, integration is a good thing, generally. At this point, I’ve mostly made the transition away from my NZ90 to the point that I’m not carrying it around anymore. MP3 duties have passed to my iRiver (which is now always in my TR bag - so much for integration). My biggest beef so far with the P900 is that there isn’t nearly the breadth of software available for UIQ compared to Palm and there is virtually no freeware available.

One thing I haven’t heard mention of much with the P910 is to what extent there will be Blackberry software available. SE made a big announcement ages ago that they were licensing the tech from RIM. Maybe it has to do with the patent fights, but the inclusion of a QUERTY keyboard seems to make the phone tailor-made for BB.

I was refering to the reason why so many people had PDA units:  contacts & calender features mainly.  You, my friend, are a different breed.  :xeno:
