Hello TR Users
Has anybody installed Slackware-Linux on a TR2 ?

I’ve tried yesterday but booting from the install CD doesn’t seem to work.

Just got a new tr3a from Compusa, and am currently successfully installing Slack 9.1 on it. I’ll dual boot it with XP pro, and have used the FAT32 fs to ensure interoprability.

Seems to be installing like a dream, but I don’t know much about the tr2 hardware limitations… you sure your boot CD is valid???

if not, I recommend DLing a new copy of the 9.1 iso from somewhere over in Germany… they seem to have the best servers for filesharing.

Yes my BootCD’s worked on my other Computers.
Downloaded them from Switzerland Mirror which was really fast

Anyway i’ve switched to Gentoo which is my 2nd favorite distribution.
On the first place of my List is LFS but i just don’t have the time to build my System from Scratch at the moment.
