Thanks for saying gr00vy… I was getting confused looking for the ‘guest’ reply :shock:

Yeah, I won’t typically censor here but that deleted post was simply out of line. It’s very atypical of the kinds of posts that we normally see. We all come from different socio-economic/cultural/ethnic but everyone here tends to have an open mind which makes this forum work. We may not all disagree or understand each other but as long as there’s a certain amount of respect and attempt of understanding then it’s all good. :wink:

it was just an expose of how sony has an imbedded program in the TRs that secretly reports all your activity to the department of homeland security, and even webcams you while u are in the toilet.  :xeno:

I go to a private school. 2nd best in DC. We are a very close high school and close grade.. and no one steals other peoples stuff bcuz we have no need to in a sense. Everyone gets what they want or already has it or can get it in a pinch themselves. Only 478 students.

Well hell… I’m in public (and WAYYY happy about it!!) and I bring my S to school everyday and I’m in 9th… it is pretty much normal to my classmates and I keep my backpack with me… just in case. I mean I do go to the highschool where ALLL the rich kids go to but it isn’t private… just an ~100Mil campus with lots of kids with silverspoons in their mouths that haven’t yet managed to learn to pull up their pants higher than their knees ...

and you need that many… why? I would be very very happy with a Dual Xeon server system with 4GB of RAM and 2 TB’s for a DVR system intercorporated into it to store my entire DVD collection on and stream to any room in my house…

Uh… you do know that Mac OSX is based on a flavor of BSD, right?

Yeah… but from something I heard you are still very limited on the ability to make new software for Apple without going through certain steps in your coding… Don’t ask me about specifics… i know some, very, basic Python but I’m holding off on learning programming til ‘05. Japanese is first.
