Does anyknow knows what’s the different between JBL Creature I and II. Also i saw in some store their LED was green,but groovy’s one was blue. Perhaps this is the differences?
- What is the Difference between the Creature and Creature II speakers?
The Creature II White has green downfiring LED’s instead of the blue on the original Creatures White.
- The Creature II comes in gray. The silver metallic Creatures are no longer produced.
- The new manufacturing process and material changes, enables the lower price point for the Creature II speakers.
- The performance of Creature II is the same as the original Creature.
i found those speaker online. the original product (Creature I) costs ~85 and Creature II costs only 49. II is alot cheaper. :| ..But i really loved those blue led.
I have the original white Creatures with the blue LEDs…they rock on a frosted glass desk. Of course, it’s made better by the fact that most of my other stuff has blue LEDs. :wink:
Either way, they are really decent speakers and not just design fluff. They sound very good for their size.
previous posts are quite right - the new creature is made from different materials and is therefore cheaper to produce. My Creature II’s have green LEDs. My friends identical looking creature 1’s have blue, but they also feel different (because of the diff materials). Sounds the same as far as i can tell. Creatures here (OZ) are $269 for 1’s and $199 for II’s. You guys overseas get a much better deal.
JBL also produced a web only purchased Blue couloured ones which look awesome but i have never seen them for sale since.
I love these Harman Kardon Soundsticks speakers… but they cost $200! :shock: :shock: :shock:
Those Blue JBL Speakers look cool what are the LEDs colored…and where are they? under the speakers?... anyone know if you can still get them… I’ll try eBay too of course…
