Install this and run it. Find the Desktop option and you can just check/uncheck the items you want on your desktop.
thanks groove! that WAS easy. now, to fix YzDock prob….its hosed! started from scratch groove but something has corrupted my system since last night that prevents the addition of icons to the dock. the only thing changed WAS THE STUPID INTEL DRIVER UPDATE that i had to backout of as it DOES NOT HAVE 1024x600 - MY FAV.
Arghhh…i am NOT being dramatic when i say that IntelSoft SUCKS, am i?

Well, just a little bit dramatic. Actually, I don’t think you can blame Intel too much on this. I’d say Sony is equally responsible. Intel just makes the driver. Sony’s software must be using some sort of hook into Intel’s driver that’s broken in the new driver. So, perhaps Sony needs to update their driver to account for this. However, there doesn’t seem to be a point since there really isn’t any problem with the current driver. The newer Intel drivers don’t add much other than fix for specific programs. If you’re not running any of those then there’s no need to use it.
You know the old saying…“If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” I’m sorry your resolution stuff was messed but you probably didn’t see the couple of threads here that said to NOT INSTALL Intel drivers 14.x because of the zoom issue.
That issue aside…so, you started from scratch on YzDock? Or are still trying to troubleshoot the first installation? I would start from scratch. You can backup your directories so you can put your icons back once it’s setup again.
