Has anyone watched Spiderman 2 yet? I just got back from the theaters, and I must say that I am very surprised at how much this movie exceeded my expectations! The acting is good, the story is more deep, and the visuals are just stunning. After being disappointed over Day After Tomorrow, Troy and other summer movies, this movie has regained my trust in Hollywood. Spiderman 2 defines what a summer blockbuster and a sequel should be like! If you haven’t watched the movie yet, you definitely should go! You won’t be disappointed. :D
Just saw the movie last night…I thought it was OK. Worth my money, but it did seem to drag on at time.
I can say the same for the first one as well. I never read (well I did once in a while, but maybe 10 full issues in my life) comic books so I don’t really care for the subject in the way most people do.
It was entertaining and funny and overall good, I just wished it was a bit shorter and quicker through some of the scenes.
I saw the movie Wednesday night. I’d have to say Spiderman 2 is the best movie I’ve watched this entire year so far!! The acting was great, and the ending was more satisfying. But both original and the sequel were awesome!!! Watched both in theaters.
Speaking of the ending, anyone noticing hints of a Spiderman 3? I’m ready to see that one already!!!

According to what i’ve read online, they hinted at 1-5 or 1-6, not sure. I wouldn’t know personally since I never read the comics but they say there is enough in there to already see whats up for the next few. As far as #3, Tobey already said its in the works…I wonder if they made him sign a multi picture deal like Bond.
Marvel is set to make a killing if they play their cards right. They can go in 100 different directions with X-men, and Spiderman seems to be a real money maker at the box office. I’d love to see them tie some of these movies together like they did in the “Secret Wars” comic series many years ago.

They said Spiderman 2 pulled in over 40 Million in one day…a Wednesday…damn, it is a real money maker for sure.

[quote author=“zen_vaio”]i wish they made Ghost Rider into a movie
Nick Cage (who took his stage surname from Luke Cage) wanted to make that movie for years, but the project never got off the ground. I think they want to fuck up Fantastic Four and Iron Man first. Then Michael Bay will Bruckheimer-ize Superman. Anyone want to bet there will be at least one money shot of Superman flying out of an explosion?

u know a movie i really wanted to see made proper was ... william gibson’s neuromancer and /or neal stephensons snowcrash.
there were rumors of both ...but thats all i have been hearing ...
I also enjoyed watching Takedown w/ skeet ulrich playing mitnick
i watched it yesterday. liked it a lot, but i’m not sure it was better than the first one.
i thought it was a bit slow, especially early on, but it picked up towards the end and the action was very good in the second half. i guess they’re trying to capture wider audiences with the sequel.
i heard that the plot for spiderman 3 has already been set and spiderman 4 is already being plan. looks like marvel is planning for this to go on for the next 5 years at least. with the kind of money they’re making on this, why not?
the man behind is costume is much much muscular than Tobey Maguire. I think it’s way off proportion imho. Even then height doesn’t really much tally!:D
